When did you join the CGLCC? I joined to network and support the CGLCC in their work in the community. I wanted to meet other LGBTQ folks who are making a difference in great Chicago with their business and being part of the larger, inclusive community that we live in and try to improve everyday.
What motivated you to join? I saw the booth at Market Days last year and it sparked my interest to support this organization and be even more part of the community. This is a unique group and I wanted to be involved as much as I can locally and nationally.
Has the chamber helped grow your business? If so, how? Since most of my work is on a national scale, the chamber has helped me locally in meeting new people and networking what I am doing as a lecturer and advocate. It has also helped me in spreading the word about the exciting documentary that I have been working on since November in 2007 that all began in Laramie, WY.
